This is very common agricultural and household implement in Nepal & mainly used in the countryside of Nepal by farmer as woodcutting and general purpose tool. It is is made of highly grade carbon steel with balance water temper on the edge so its very strong and very sharp. Panawal (full tang) handle, The handle is unique compared to use,  the metal of the blade in the handle area is flat and can be seen all around the handle. Saadan (Nepali wood) joined strongly from both sides with two rivets which makes it stronger.  This blade can be used to chop wood or bone cleaning bushes and other kind of domestic work.. It has two baby knives, (karda & chakmak) one sharpener which it used for sharping original blade & another one is used for paper cutting & letter opener etc.
